Finished the first chapter, dedicated to Umm al-Qur-an, surah al-Fatiha. The author mostly quotes other scholars and their quotes cannot fit into the character limit of this progress update, nor can they be shortened to make sense. I'll keep most of the quotes for the review of the book, unless I get across some that could fit in the word count of the progress update.
