Josie is an interesting lady and her relationship is becoming a hot story around town.
The lizard is killed and the boy is heart broken, How can he be with his father and not be afraid? Is his mother dead?
Where is the author going with his book? Lots of questions.

I admire the character, Josie from the past. I also think the author in the story has many family issues that bother him as he tries to finish his next book and gets sidetracked by a lovely girl and a sweet boy.

I feel like this one is slow moving.

The mill worker took from his customers and therefore, was fired, will he seek revenge?

The characters are very likable and interesting.
