I caught Covid and the narrator caught a cold. What a great book to read while living a human life.

Had to change a tire yesterday and then the main character had a flat tire and had to wait on the side of the road in the cold for help. Grateful I keep a full size spare tire in the car. Grateful to travel w a beloved and not by my lonesome. Love / Despair how much I’m learning about PFOAs and DuPont and the bittersweet of aging

Currently listening to a litany of “the fact that…” including the fact that microfiber cloths would probably come in handy for cleaning things up in interstellar space
I’m always saying that microfiber cloths would be handy for cleaning up interstellar messes! That and lemon pine-sol
“The fact that we ended up with it all—the family heirlooms:……..a moose head that scares kids at Halloween; Aunt Sophia’s old butter churn; an ornate cream skimmer….”
The fact that sometimes I’m just wondering how her punctuation could possibly be sticky enough to hold all of it together
Sticky enough to hold all of it together….. god ur so hot. I wanna read this now. I read she doesn’t ever even use a semicolon in this 1,000 page/46 hour sentence? Incredible
