Kind of hilarious, but I honestly don't know if it was intentional. The romance is kind of eye roll worthy, but I suspect it's because I haven't bothered to read the first four books. Also the decisions the characters make is very... ????? However, there is an alcoholic deputy whose first name is actually Luscious, and he's absolutely my favourite character.
