The world was opening itself, as if to allow, now that life was shortening, one long, passionate look, and all that had been withheld would finally be given.

I’m glad you’re reading this, Violeta, and am looking forward to your thoughts. I love his writing and loved this book, but saw a few in our circle had issues with it 🤷🏻♀️

I read this but it was light years ago.

I'm not reading your review until I'm finished with it but I'm glad to see your 4 stars. I can imagine why some would have issues with it, but I'm definitely on the love-side. 🌹
