Elsa killed a bug in anger, I think this proves she’s not as good a person as she’s trying to be. Loves nature, the storm, yet, capable of sudden cruelty that hasn’t been thought out.

Elsa meet a man with a deep nasal voice. That halted me, couldn’t work it out - but could it be thick sounding and through his nose like he has a cold? Bit bizarre- yet not the strangest thing about him. Hairless, grey, yet in his early twenties and he dissolved and turned into a cloud, which rained and made him whole again.

Atmospheric and ethereal. Elsa is the lead character. after the death of her father (another book where this is a theme!) feels a calling to this place called Thunderstown and it feels like she’s cut or is cutting all ties with family and those close, recent split with her boyfriend. Tunnel vision, selfish?
