this is unintentionally one of the funniest books i've ever read because it's so obvious that isao is a self-insert for mishima and therefore he is one of the gayest characters in literary history

am i just a masochist (yes 🤭)? i tried reading white noise but i kept daydreaming about reading this book while doing so. man i really hate mishima most of the time but what can i say, when he's good he's good.
