When I read, I “see” the movie play out in my mind. As an neurospicy, words matter. When a specific word is used to describe something that doesn’t fit the definition - doesn’t matter if it’s been perpetuated as a thing - it makes it hard to visualize. Words matter. Stop crucifying readers who point that out. Authors. Do better. Or don’t.
