Apparently its going quite fast.
I'm glad they address the game design in the story, even if its only because the bugs are the plot. That being said I stand by my earlier statement that its poorly designed.
Still enjoying it and may even finish the first book tomorrow!

Wow. The end of book two was exhausting! Non stop questing. Time for a break.

Oh look, a surprise twist!
The next twist is probably that the head knight is on their side too.
And I'm not overly fond of the combat scenes. At least they are quick.

Well, I keep reading it, I guess that's a good sign. And the MC and game dev pretty much agreed with my laws of robotics statement earlier!

Yeah, I'm back to saying this game has major design issues. It needs the three laws of robotics or something!
Also, the cliff side combat made me think of numerous pop culture media... Galactica (unless I'm mixing up series) with the carrier ships launching lots of others, Harry Potter for the dementors, and I think a few others were mixed in. I'd have to check the dates to know if it was coincidence or not.

Need a break from the number crunch.
Also very annoyed at the non-pi dream number 31454390287987083142093187431
The second book started out by referencing the zombies but quickly devolved into chaos. Now we are blackmailed into a quest for the king. At least we met another dev and our human characters are sleeping together.
Still interesting, but setting fatigue is creeping in.

This is a horribly designed game, even for an alpha.
I also wonder if the bug monsters are actually failed player uploads (based off the dream).
Surprisingly, while I can't say it's a good book, I am enjoying it.

Yeah, that's a terrible introduction. At least the premise is interesting. Of course I doubt the zombies or real world will be mentioned more than in passing from now on.

I bought the complete set for 99 cents in December so I should probably read it.
I'll record each individual book in good reads when I finish and review them if I feel motivated...
