Very good! Compelling immigrant story from the eyes of a Norwegian woman from the late 1800s. Nora was faced with heart-wrenching choices that were designed by societal and religious expectations for women and mothers of the times. The story makes clear the no-win choices for women then and the consequences of one path taken by Nora.
