It’s not bad. It’s just not great. Not life changing. The characters never face any real challenges. There never seems to be a true struggle. Like Davian in the rift… he spent weeks preparing for that, and then he just easily does it over the span of a few sentences. It wasn’t hard; there was no struggle: boring.
