"Some religious philosophers even go so far as stating that God, the ultimate essence and totality of the Divine, is Love. . . By focusing on love they come to see other emotions such as hate as obstacles to achieving understanding and union with the Divine. In this philosophy to be alienated from love is to be alienated from the Divine." This book is full of great stuff!
