I had the biggest crush on Raf as a youth, and he is still, frankly, very charming.

Reading a book you really ~liked as a teenager for the first time as an adult is usually such a fraught experience but I think I'm loving it even more now. The prose, the pacing, the atmosphere, the old-lore magic, our EXTREMELY serious and capable protagonist who is so clearly out of her depth... *chef's kiss*
