Since the Fae war it feels like things have gone from warp speed to dead calm. This book, as the last, had lots of not much happening then the last 20 pages were death, carnage, and OMG-what-did-I-just-do reflection. Sookie's learning about her past was interesting. I will keep reading as I enjoy the characters, but hope that things liven up. And Pam should have her own franchise, just saying.
