I’m never coming back to this “series” again.

I’m just hoping the enjoyment I got from “the blackened blade” wasn’t a fluke from this author. Since it was published after This book…maybe her writing improved ??

Ugh, need to look for a new book bc this shit was disappointing.

So I stopped at chapter seven(?)
And looked down at the page number…dreading having to read at least another hundred and fifty.

Skipped to the end, skip read backwards… boring shit.
No unexpected given what is already managed to read so far.
I might have to go back and reread the other book I loved from this author.. was it even good???

That entire chapter two was horrendous. From the little I glimpsed at least. Christ, this might have to go on my “utter shit” shelf.

It’s rare, but unfortunately there are authors who can write good books as well as SHIT books. Like this one.

Which is stupid and annoying bc this author literally has ONLY TWO BOOKS. One of which I love.

I suppose I should be glad there’s only about two hundred pages in this book.

One chapter in and I want to chuck it in the bin.
