Ha! I don't touch Austen retellings with a bargepole, but that premise has me intrigued as to how that would work. :)

It is not bad. Her humor isn’t quite my cuppa, but it isn’t bad. Top There are some changes (Lizzie is not Lizzie, for instance) and I think you will only get the Austen bit if you know Austen. A male student loves this book and is going to review it for his next essay. Even has a tattoo of one of the leads. He wanted me to read it. Have to encourage book love. He did not know the Austen connection.
