John billy was one of the best stories Ive read, edge of my seat until the very end, the main character’s dumbed down behavior contrasts with intelligent vocabulary is beautiful, end of the story left me confused but also contemplative, amazing

Lyndon was one of the weirdest stories ive ever read, very well written but the end just threw me for a loop, i love how versatile dfw is through each story

The namesake story was odd, granted all of them have been but this one seemed the most unhinged so far

Second story was great too, not as in depth but DFW writing really shines through
