i think it helps that i had no idea what this book series was about when starting the first book and that my expectations of this book series was in hell because i'm utterly blown away by how good this book is rn, and im not even 150 pages into it!

its so insane that this was written by sjm. i read both the tog and acotar series in 2016, and while they were enjoyable, the plot of both series were just alright. particularly with tog, you can tell sjm didn't plan out the series by the fact that the first and last book are so insanely different.
anyways, the plot of this rn is 10/10, characters are 10/10, romance is 10/10, the enjoyability is 10/10

i can already tell im really gonna like this book.
