... But I can’t ignore how highly she speaks of Ryan. She should recognize how awfully he treats (even emotionally abuses) her son. Will still doesn't see it but it is so obvious. And given that Will speaks to his mom almost every day and would no doubt tell her about his relationship with Ryan, the abuse shouldn't be hard to spot at all. And Ryan has not “kept Will sober.” Will said a few pages ago that he hasn’t ever earned a 9 month chip. That’s not keeping sober in any way shape or form.
