An interesting book from the trenches. Written by those who participated in The Battle of the Bulge, one of the last defining battles (or the last?) in the European Theater of Operations in WWII. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Perspectives of loss, being a POW, and the confusion and bravery of war. Moving. My dad was a tank commander during this phase of the war, so these perspectives were meaningful.
