My school is bringing back the Battle of the Books contest and I am on our teacher team. This was one of the book options for this years contest. I found the book to be ok. It was super short and it was basically just about a man telling stories from his childhood while everyone was in a storm shelter to pass the time. Not my favorite children’s book by far.
