You ever wish you could just eat a book and absorb every word? Note to self to buy a copy after I return this to have on hand for reference. Chapter 5 is easily the best introduction to the topic of Hermeticism I’ve found. Ties together Idrīs with Enoch/Metatron/Thoth/Thoth-Hermes/Hermes/Hermes twice-great/Hermes Trimegistus/Enmeduranki/Nabu(Nebo)/Budhasaf (Buddha)/ Sābi by explaining rich crosscultural history.
