just had to say goodbye to my 14yr old dog, dakotah mae...fully don't know how to feel right now. it doesn't feel real yet. i've loved her since she was a tiny newborn puppy and i genuinely don't know how the world looks without her 💔

I don’t know you, but I know what it’s like to lose an animal you’ve loved for a long time. It’s like they take a part of you away with them. Just remember that by loving and caring for your doggy, you gave her a beautiful, happy, peaceful life that she most definitely enjoyed ❤️ dogs are lovely creatures, and it hurts to see them go because eventually you love them like family. I know your dog loved you, and I’m so sorry that you had to lose her. She’ll always be warming your heart, taking cute puppy naps, playing in the grass, being just as happy and fulfilling in spirit as she was alive. I hope you feel better, once again I’m so so sorry🫶🫶
just know that you are sooo strong!! you being happy is the best gift you can give dakotah rn. losing a special someone is a heartbreak that no one should go through, but in life we have to go through it sometimes. also know that you are more than welcome to message me if you want to talk! she is probably looking down at you right now and is soo appreciative of what a great owner, and friend you have been to her. you have given dakotah great memories, and joy. i'm so sorry for your loss. 💗

thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness 😭🤍 dakotah was the sweetest, kindest, most loving creature i've ever met, and she had a long life full of lots of love. she could sense emotions from across the house, and would come running to either celebrate with you or lick your tears away. it doesn't feel real that she's truly gone. 💔 but i'm so grateful for all the years we got to spend together.
