I’m giving this 2.5 stars. Which feels too generous.
Even as I type this, I kinda want to rate it one star.
There were many lines of dialogue that were very VERY cringe. So off putting to read.
Not to mention the LONG AS HELL inner monologuing.
Yawn.

Tbh that photo art at the end was much better than the cover photo.
I skipped reading a lot. Like, A LOT. 😳
I didn’t not enjoy the little I read, most of this shit was sex scenes…which were meh, and cringe at best.
Slightly annoying, the fmc names all sound similar.
And mainly, I didn’t care for any character.
At most, I wanted to hear more about the previous characters. Which I barely got.

First of all, that cover photo art is atrocious.
It’s giving live action cat in the hat movie.
Nightmare fuel.
Secondly, I feel like every book since the initial chosen series, has been meh. And mostly shit.
Also after rereading the gilt whatever series…my god, the writing was terrible. It’s been a day and I still only remember Viper.
My mind gladly forgot all the other details.
