Mattie's brother Chase has just told her that she in her words is being 'sold off' to Nicodemus so that their family's company will survive after their dad's sudden death. She is not happy at all, but Chase is in the same boat as she is. I haven't read a presents in the Harlequin series before so i hope I enjoy this.

Well Mattie and Nic are now married and on his Island which she is not liking being all alone there by their selves. She willingly gave herself over in a way on the plane. She stood there and stripped for him and then her body came alive for him yet she still tries to deny she feels anything for him. He has been after her for ten years and told her she would be his. I want to strangle her at times for way she acts.
