This book is so far more interesting than I thought it would be.
Both from the standpoint of learning more about Spotify and in their approach which is equal parts fascinating and absurd.
I really enjoyed the historical context of the very early days of Spotify. I don’t speak Swedish so having the summary of some of the earliest history was very cool.

This book is better than I thought. The authors at times feel painfully disconnected from how tech actually works, which I at first saw as a weakness, but now read as a strength. Most people don’t know how the tech they use works, and I think the academic treatment is interesting. I’d like to see an updated edition tho.
