At the halfway point probably 3.5, three if forced to pick. I’ve read a few “weird” fiction books and they always fail to create worlds that make any sense to me. This one has all the same problems that other weird fiction books have; a world structure that exists to make things “weird” but when you step back for a second it doesn’t hold any water it’s full of holes. Pulls me right out of the story.
