Honestly it's kind of annoying that a very short chapter on Zachary is always followed my a chapter from the library books. Kicks me out of the main story every time.
Not all of the short stories correlate with the main story (and not a lot of them are fleshed out stories, but more like ideas) so I think Morgenstern should have rather just published them on their own.
