There was no goddamned way Bren’s source could be Jessica’s brother, Jasper— because Jacoby was the real Jasper, and he sure as hell wasn’t the one making phone calls to Bren. Which left Jacoby’s mind spinning with all the heart-stopping possibilities of who was pretending to be Jasper— and why— and how much of this was his sister’s idea of a power play.
