I saw a review saying that it was unnecessary to have multiple POVs, which resulted in them not caring about the other characters' conflicts most of the time.
Now, I'm starting to see why. I really don't want to get bored reading this because this was my Christmas gift to myself. huhuhu

Okay, I think I'm starting to see the point of this book. And slowly I'm kinda getting Preston. Yeah, he's annoying but not a bad person. As for Karina and Louisa, I'm starting to not care about their romance. At this point, I'm just concerned with their art.

I guess the beginning of the book feels bland due to exposition dumps about the characters and what their interpersonal relationships are with other characters we are suddenly introduced to.
This could have been executed better. I just got easily bored of learning what one character's past is to then being introduced to a different character's past. Don't get me wrong, I've read books like that but with Sirens and Muses it was just boring to me, which really shocked me since the setting seemed promising.
This could just be a me problem though.
Don't worry, I will still give it a try but at least my expectations are a little more realistic going in. Thank you!
