Honestly… it’s not really drawing me, I expected a detective novel and so far all I’ve gotten is she’s mad she was turned, a Vernian descent into hollow earth, acceptance of her new immortality and now chapter after chapter of key figures from history teaching her how to be a vampire chosen by the ancients. Please tell me it gets better!
