Very classic police procedural serial killer novel, taking place in the local haunts of the great state of Minnesota. I love reading about my local streets. However, all the main characters and police officers are men. All of them. The women are very clearly written as weak, emotional, and reliant on men for their character development... to the point where I'm wondering why the author wrote in women at all?
