1) the prose is intoxicating and has never been anything that wasn't intoxicating so far. 2) raeder has an amazing way of stringing along dialogue in a perfected, flowing curve - it's sarcastic and honest and beautiful and brilliant and clever. 3) laney keeps unraveling effy stonem-esque herself in surprising ways 4) i'm hyped
