Teaching people that their sexual urges are an uncontrollable impulse, a force that is outside themselves, and not a part of who and what they are, is a belief that fosters and promotes evil and harm to others. Pain is a signal - nothing more, an nothing less. It is an incredibly important part of life, just as valuable as happiness and joy. Pain and sadness help us understand and identify what is important in our lives, to value those things, and to motivate us to protect them.
