I'm a longtime Martin Amis fan. I also wanted to read the book before seeing the movie!
i've also read Time's Arrow... did not do it for me either. thoughts?
I read Time's Arrow long ago. It's not my favorite Amis -- a bit gimmicky and not so effective. I like most of the novels he wrote in the 20th century and his later works not so much.
