I had been vaguely aware of Stjepan's work thanks to Deviantart, so was intrigued to come across this unknown project in Waterstones. Given that it is all too common for 6 people to work on a graphic story, I had never seen one person do all the work before and rarely since.
A quick flick, and the art enchanted me. A gorgeous mix of fantasy, gritty realism, and gothic, I knew that I would read it for that alone

I found comfort in comic strips, then books, and finally graphic novels when my mind felt too overloaded to read a lot of words at once. The quality varies a lot, and to have one person create work of this quality and brilliance is otherwise unknown to me. Seriously, it's common to have 6 people work on one panel.

As soon as I picked up Book One browsing by manga, it felt special. This really resonates with me xo
