Almost there....

I admit I'm not completely engaged with this book. My bus/train habits have changed and I don't prioritize reading as much as I used to. But still trucking through it, and committed to finishing it. Daley's writing is rich and sometimes so chock-full of 'vocabulary' words that sometimes it is foreign. But I love it.

Started a bit confused because I couldn't remember who some of the characters were that had important roles in the first book. But nevertheless this is a delicious read.

I should have read this closer in time to Doomfarers. I've forgotten who some of the characters are! Nevertheless, continuing my quest to read the entire Brian Daley body of work, boldly I go reading the second book in this two-book series....
