Felt like a loser reading a 40k book while wearing a yasuo league of legends shirt waiting in the doctor's office but both things were from my brother so I no longer felt like a loser and instead felt loved

I know I'm reading it kind of slowly but I'm also eating it up WHEN I do read it so !! A lot of my enjoyment does come from the fact that it makes me feel closer to my brother (he likes 40k and recommended this series to me)

the chapters feel pretty long to me so I've been chipping away a chapter at a time :-) and man. chapter 4 was really good. what in the masterchef am i reading LOL..
also are the pages mad long. for being 220ish pages this book is sure as hell taking me a while to read.......

I'm enjoying myself but I also have questions. We aren't supposed to like the Imperium right??? 😭😭😭 like they're fascists right ???? Ngl I need to like, watch 40k world overview lore vids or smth to fully comprehend what's going on. But like I said I'm enjoying myself. Book is kind of misogynistic though even when it has strong female charas
