This was initially hard to get into I found the Uber Gen Z millennial voice jarring and the narrator voice. But as the story develops and Hera and Arthur embark on their affair I feel equal parts annoyed by and pity Hera. Her lack of self awareness diminishes as the book progresses and her current self narrating the past does a good job of highlighting how selfish and manipulative Arthur is
