Not a fan of the using disability as a way of distinguishing the villains - limp and use of a cane, glass (or should I say gold???) eyes... etc. it's kind of ironic considering this is a book about a boy trying to be accepted in a world that doesn't welcome him due to his appearance, but there you go.
