So far, the similarities between this and The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova are uncanny! In The Historian, a young daughter's parents are off researching/tracking Dracula and go missing. When the daughter receives word her parents are missing she boards a train to follow in their footsteps to discover what happened. Totally makes me wanna reread the book, but it's like 700pgs and the first 50 or so pages are slow.
