Alicia Which is your favourite so far? The one about the black cat is pretty horrendous!

message 2: by Trudy (new) - added it

Trudy Whitcombe I'm reading front to back so just finished the first "the unparalleled adventure od one Hans pfaall" the black cat is about a quarter of the way through. Watching the fall of the house of usher on netflix got me re interested in Poe, having only ever read the pit and the pendulum and of course the raven.

Alicia The longer tale of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket gave me nightmares for ages... Poe has a flair for the gruesome. Also his ingrained fear of being buried alive is readily transmitted to the reader! Enjoy bwahaha...
