Every paragraph I have to go back multiple paragraphs to follow and flip to the back to read notes. It makes me feel like I'm not absorbing meaning until I get to the end of a chapter and all the threads come together into a coherent point. A real "trust the process" reading experience. Probably I'll need to re-read to really absorb because the first reading mostly feels like translation. Worth the effort.
