Marcella Hazan is reason Italian cookery exists in the US & UK. It should absolutely be on both your RL and virtual bookshelves. This book is a detailed instruction on how to not only prepare the dishes, but select the ingredients. I’ve been cooking since I was 9 and never really had someone guiding me. Reading this book feels like I have my mother, grandmother or even grandfather at my side.
