what on the earth… i’m so pleasantly surprised. why did i stop reading this again? i should’ve trusted the process. but, oh. My. God. the shower scene?! christian is such a gentleman. i cannot wrap my head around the fact that he showered stella with love. (Literally.) he’s so sweet! tell me, who would do that except for him?! and he knows (almost) the whole shower body hair routine. now c’mon man 😭

i’m loving this so farrr!! it’s giving me major good vibes and i catch myself smiling a lot of the times… i love the idea of stella’s journal being included in the book, it’s smt different from any books i’ve read so far (excluding wp ofc).. i really love her personality she’s literally super relatable and such an it girl.. so beautiful….

it’s so cool that a lot of scenes from the different books r connected!! i thought i missed out and forgot something from either twisted hate or king of wrath about magda but maybe not…? idk i’m glad twisted lies is going to explain and reveal it to us tho… 3rd chpt down and book is so mysterious already i can’t waitt! i love stella’s personality and christian almost stalked her acc😭 he’s so WHIPPED

the hair conditioning and loofa 😭 not the full full routine (because uh…. stella is the IT GIRL of course she’s gonna have a 10 step body and hair routine!!) but the bare minimum that most men are not aware of. it’s the little actions and knowledge that count 😭 and christian is here to save the day. i have gained belief in humanity. oh how i love male characters written by women 🥰 he prepared the bathtub, carried stella to it and proceeds to give her a nice bath. sigh….. anywayssss i didn’t know that stella was into bdsm. but was i surprised? no. 😳 she is for the millionth time, such a relatable and down to earth girly and her sexual fantasies made her even more so. i love that ana huang is exploring themes that she never really did in her previous books, and it makes everything all the more unique and lovable. her writing style hits good here compared to uhh the other books in this series, and i AM enjoying reading this. she actually makes scenes more intriguing to read compared to previous authors’ works i’ve read (ahem, i wonder who.) so i can’t help but compare. though it is THE ana huang, so are we shocked? No. We expected that. anyway christian omgee christiaannn how can someone be this perfect and caring?

there’s just something about ana huang’s writing and i love it so much. the targeted scene to me comparing it to other writers is when stella touched herself. it was interesting to read, idk how else to describe it but it was good. very delicate and stunning?
