okay, quite a unique perspective i can offer as i started this book 2 years ago and picked it back up recently.
when i was first in the throes of grief, these words resonated deeply– such stuff struck me as lightning does earth.
however, now that i am no longer 18, i see this book as somewhat... superficially profound– the author is projecting so much that it becomes gruelling to process as a reader.
