okay this book is actually getting good. I initially was turned off by the way the narrations were split in each chapter, but the plot drawing attention to racial injustice is making it difficult to put down. to paraphrase “If history doesn’t make you angry, then you haven’t learn anything” and this book has so far brought up such feelings of anger.
