Aren't they concerned that if they kill him stella might die since they're supposed to be paired? Like they came to the conclusion they're supposed to be paired and then don't explain how it works except that they'll die without each other and then still decide he needs to die....and now stella can be collateral and might die....????

Well clearly that coven is up to something. As if the smell wasn't a dead giveaway
