This time re-reading this to really pay attention to organization, prose style, and things like frequency of citations and/or footnotes. A little ways in and I'm getting the reassurance I needed that I don't need to go too ham on that last part, it's possible for a lot of the text to be the author's own opinions and anecdotes like this.

I'd already finished the other book I was reading, then couldn't sleep after being paged for on-call bullshit at 2:30am. It felt appropriate to pick this up for a re-read given the circumstances.
