Oo! I’m really enjoying this. The technology that’s a major plot device is a neurological implant capable of recording a person’s experiences. This implant, with its accumulated memories, is then passed on to a new “compatible” person. After what’s normally an integration period of a year, the new recipient is now essentially a hybrid personality because “memory comes with personality.” Fascinating.
